THE GREG VADNAIS QUARTET
The Greg Vadnais Quartet features Ron Getz on guitar, Bruce Dondero on Bass, and Evan Kielty on Saxophone. Through the years the quartet has also included a number of guests, or alternate members including Dan White, Chris Bickley, Steve Sandner, Steve Stargardt, Dave Collini, Andy Evans, Patrick Terbrack, Owen James and others as guest artists.
BOTALA
Botala blends the sounds of traditional Afro-Cuban and Brazilian music with house and Afro Beat, including live percussion and live looping. Originally conceived purely as a looping project, I've grown to describe this as a "DJ project with live elements". Great for salsa, merengue, samba, and all kinds of dancing.
BIG GREASY FUNK BAND
The Big Greasy Funk Band is a celebration of New Orleans funk and blues, the roots of American music. Led by Matt Prorok, vocalist and keyboardist based in Traverse City, MI, this power house band packs a funky punch.The “Big Greasy” is the official kickoff to Mardi Gras each year in the French Quarter; a fitting name for a band that gets the party started and is ready to play all night long. The band's high-intensity show features drums, percussion, piano, hammond organ, bass, guitar, and horns.
